New York based writer living in New York’s Greenwich Village. Daniel has been a Restaurant and Wine Professional for more than 25 years and is considered on of the country’s foremost authorities of Italian Wine. Has been writing about; Food, Wine, Restaurants, and Travel for 8 years.

Along with years of experience in the restaurant business, starting as a Bus Boy when in High School and moving up through the ranks as a Waiter, Bartender, Maitre’d, and Wine Director in such notable restaurants as The Odeon, Barbetta, Da Silvano, Bar Cichetti, and Del Posto
Attended new York technical College mainly for the reason of the culinary education and experience within the Hotel & Restaurant Curriculum. Worked in kitchen from the ground up, first as Prep Cook, Line Cook, Sous Chef, and finally as Executive Chef of Corrado Restaurant and Bar Cichetti.
Daniel Created Bar Cichetti, America’s first ever Venetian Wine Bar Osteria (Bacaro) where he was Executive Chef, Wine Director and Managing Partner.
Currently working on the companion cookbook to La Tavola, un yet titled.
