Madison Square Garden

Andrea Bocelli

One of the BEst Shows EVer ! Went to see andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden the other night. My cousin Tommy Macari got a skybox suite from a friend of his. There were about 18 of us in the private box, including my cousin Anthony and his wife Debbie, Alexndra and Joe Macari and their children Gabriella, Thomas Luciano, and Eddie, and friends of Tommy as well. The skybox private wuite was verry cool. The box had 18 stadium seats as well as a small room with bar stools at a bar and we hd a bar with wine, Campari, Tequila, and otherr beverages and food, including: Sausage Sandwiches, Sushi, Hot Pretzels, Cookies, Cupcakes, and M&M’s ..

The Concert was absolutely wonderful. The feature of course was Andrea Bocelli, and no less amazing was The New York Philharmonic Orechestra and otherr musical guests, whcih include to female singers and a Violin Solist, as well as a Choir from Haiti. One of the many highlights of the evenenings performance was when Andrea intoduced famed Tenor PLacido Domingo and asked him if he would conduct the orchestra in a song from la Traviata. Placido obliged, and it was absolutely wonderful. 

There was a 20 minute interrmission which was great for us to mingle and chat over cocktails in our suite. The 2nd half of the concert program began with an amazing rendition of john Philip Sousa ‘s Magnum Opus STARS & STRIPES FOREVER .. It was phenomenal.

Andrea performed songs: Mamma, Maria from WEST SIDE STORY, The PRAYER, Time to Say Goodbye, Come All Ye Faithful, and other songs. It was a beautiful night and everyone in our group totally enjoyed the evening and thought the concert was fabulous. Thank You Tommy ad everyone who made this memorable evening possible.
