GREETINGS From LAKE GEORGE
Â
Â
Â
This was my families main vacation spot for years. My brother Jimmy and his wife still go there every year for their vacation.Â
Â
It was to LAKE GEORGE that my father David Zwicke brought me and my little brother Jimmy to, in I think it was 1965 … I forget the name of the hotel we stayed at, but it was just a mile or two outside of Lake gGorge Village. I remember that we went to Gaslight Village and Fort William Henry for sure on that vacation as well as going to the Penny Arcade and Minature Gold at the Penny Arcade. We had MIKE’S SUBS right over there as well, along with NEBA ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES which my father loved.
Â
Â
Â
We went on The MOHIGAN on that first trip to LAKE GEORGE
Â
Sailing from the most southern tip of the Lake, past the SAGAMORE and all the way up to PARADISE BAY where we turned around and headed back to the foot of Lake George.
